- Lead the on-field operations of the Guelph Royals, overseeing daily practices, game-day preparation, and team performance throughout the season.
- Develop and implement practice plans, defensive strategies, offensive approaches, and game plans.
- Manage and coordinate the coaching staff, ensuring clear communication and consistency across all aspects of team operations.
- Work closely with the General Manager on roster construction, player development, recruitment, and overall baseball strategy.
- Evaluate player performance and provide ongoing feedback to support individual and team development.
- Make in-game decisions regarding pitching, defensive positioning, substitutions, lineups, and strategic adjustments.
- Foster a positive, competitive, and accountable team environment while maintaining skilled standards on and off the field.
- Coordinate with players, coaches, league officials, and organizational staff to ensure smooth day-to-day baseball operations.
- Represent the Guelph Royals professionally at games, practices, community events, and league functions.
