Join Waiward as a Field QA/QC Level 2 Inspector in Fort McMurray, AB. This full time role supports quality control in construction and maintenance at the Suncor Base Plant, focusing on compliance and documentation. As a Field QA/QC Inspector, you will report to the Site Superintendent and ensure that work adheres to project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Your responsibilities include overseeing inspections, managing quality records, and collaborating with subcontractors to achieve quality objectives. A key part of this role is implementing quality plans and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field inspections for compliance with project standards
- Verify welding inspections and material traceability




- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records
- Address quality issues through NCRs and RFIs
- Collaborate with teams to meet quality objectives Requirements:
- CSA W178.2 Level II Welding Inspector certification
- Experience in mechanical and piping quality inspections
- Knowledge of NDE methods like RT, UT, MT, PT
- Strong organizational and communication skills
