Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup, sanitation, and food safety compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables without compromising service quality
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Ensure adherence to food industry regulations regarding sanitation, safety, and proper food handling practices

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and inventory management
- Experience in food industry roles involving serving, food preparation, or kitchen support is advantageous but not mandatory
