Everest Construction has an immediate requirement forJourneyman/woman Carpenters in the Calgary and surrounding area. If you are a construction qualified with a minimum 2 years experience in commercial and civil work, including concrete formwork, we would like to meet you!

In addition to the above, the following requirements are assets for the position:

- Valid Class 5 drivers licence and reliable vehicle to commute to work
- Clear communicator
- Certificates in CSTS and WHMIS are necessary while Fall Protection, Ariel Lift Training and Confined Space are assets.
- Positive attitude and relationship focused leader, strong mentorship skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Operate hand and power tools to perform construction tasks, including carpentry and woodworking.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Maintain safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to communicate project progress and address any issues.
- Drive to job sites with a Class 5 Licence, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour
