Company Description
Innova Museums Ltd. is an international digital culture enterprise building next-generation platforms, e-ticketing solutions, and AI-powered visitor experiences for heritage sites, cultural institutions, and museums. Our mission is to bridge history and technology by delivering seamless, sovereign digital infrastructure—from dynamic QR ticketing to context-aware conversational AI.
Role Description (Unpaid Volunteer)
We are looking for a reliable, highly motivated Full Stack Developer Volunteer (Stripe / E-Commerce Specialist) to join our technical team. In this volunteer capacity, you will lead the implementation of secure payment infrastructure, energetic checkout flows, and Stripe API integrations for our e-ticketing and museum platforms.
Day-to-day responsibilities focus on configuring Stripe Payment Intents, handling secure webhooks, managing backend checkout logic, and connecting API endpoints with interactive front-end widgets. You will collaborate directly with our Systems Architect and development team to test transaction handling, ensure PCI compliance, and deliver a smooth checkout experience.
This is a strictly unpaid,
remote volunteer role designed specifically for ambitious computer science students, recent graduates, or emerging developers looking to gain high-value, production-grade engineering experience for their portfolio.
Note: Professionalism, high reliability, fast response times, and prompt execution of onboarding agreements (NDA) are strictly required.
Qualifications
- Core Focus: Proven hands-on experience integrating the Stripe API (Payment Intents, Webhooks, Checkout Sessions, and error handling).
- Back-End Development: Proficiency in Node.js (Express or Fastify). Strong familiarity with PostgreSQL or MongoDB is a major asset.
- Front-End Development: Solid skills in React and Tailwind CSS for building responsive, clean user interfaces and payment cards.
- APIs & Webhooks: Clear understanding of RESTful architecture, handling asynchronous payment events, and securing API endpoints.
- Workflow & Tools: Experience with Git, GitHub workflows, environment configuration, and basic debugging.
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills, accountability, and ability to meet agreed project milestones independently.
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical project experience.
