SkilledReady is currently hiring 2 General Labourers to assist with the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of a large 70-acre property featuring historical buildings, outdoor grounds, event spaces, and a food court area made from shipping containers.

This is a hands-on position with a variety of duties. You will work alongside an existing site team and should be comfortable working both outdoors in different weather conditions and inside buildings.

Responsibilities

- Walking the property and keeping grounds clean and organized
- Weeding gardens and landscaped areas
- Watering gardens and assisting with general grounds maintenance
- Picking up, moving, and organizing materials and items around the property
- Basic cleaning inside buildings
- Assisting with minor maintenance tasks, such as putting a door back on its hinges
- Helping prepare the property for events
- Moving tables, equipment, supplies, and other materials as required
- Assisting the existing maintenance/site team with general labour duties




- Performing other basic property upkeep tasks as needed

Requirements
- Must have steel-toe work boots
- Comfortable performing physical/manual labour throughout the shift
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to walk and work throughout a large property
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
- Previous general labour, landscaping, grounds maintenance, construction, or property maintenance experience is an asset

Position Details We are looking for 2 workers to start ASAP. Shifts will generally be approximately 6–8 hours per day.

This is expected to be an ongoing seasonal opportunity, potentially continuing until the winter season, based on the site's needs and performance.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
