We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our team, drive operational excellence, and support continued business growth.

Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the brewery and restaurant operations. This role oversees front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensures exceptional guest experiences, manages financial performance, and works closely with brewery production and ownership to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Oversee daily restaurant and taproom operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, beer quality, cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities.

Team Leadership

- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop managers and staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Schedule staff to meet service demands while controlling labor costs.

Financial Management

- Manage budgets, sales targets, and profitability goals.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Control operating expenses and identify opportunities for increased revenue.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, reporting, and compliance procedures.

Customer Experience

- Lead initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.




- Address customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Ensure a welcoming, engaging atmosphere that reflects the brewery’s brand and values.

Brewery & Brand Collaboration

- Work closely with brewing staff to support product launches and promotions.
- Coordinate special events, beer releases, and community engagement activities.
- Promote the brewery's brand through local partnerships and marketing initiatives.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, liquor licensing, and employment regulations.
- Maintain food safety, workplace safety, and responsible service standards.
- Manage inspections and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required

- 5+ years of management experience in a restaurant, brewery, hospitality, or related environment.
- Proven success managing financial performance, labor costs, and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

- Experience in a brewery, brewpub, taproom, or craft beverage environment.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service.
- Experience with Square, inventory management, and scheduling software.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
