Hartery’s Oilfield Hauling Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and oilfield equipment to ensure our operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
- Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and work environment.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable transportation and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, management, and other shop personnel.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification preferred.




- Previous experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers is required.
- Experience with oilfield equipment is considered an asset.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s licence; Class 1 licence is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple repair and maintenance requirements.
- Own tools are preferred.
