Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and quickly
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance sales opportunities
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or food industry roles preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail
