As part of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, the Nurse Practitioner will work under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team. This role requires a Master's in Nursing and involves prescribing treatments, conducting diagnostic tests, and mentoring staff members. Your ability to relate to diverse communities, especially in Indigenous health, will enrich service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive clinical assessment and care
• Prescribe and manage pharmacologic treatments autonomously
• Collaborate on complex patient care plans
• Drive initiatives for health promotion and disease prevention
• Facilitate staff education on best practices
Requirements:
• Master's of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Stream necessary
• Valid nursing registration with CRNM
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous customs preferred
• Capacity to navigate rapid-paced clinical settings
