Phoenix Dance is seeking an energetic, experienced jazz dance instructor to teach kids, teens and adults of all skill levels. You will deliver fun, structured classes, build a positive classroom atmosphere, and help students grow technically and build confidence.
Responsibilities
‑ Teach jazz dance classes for different age & skill groups ‑ Lead warm‑ups, technique drills and dance combinations ‑ Choreograph routines for shows, recitals and events ‑ Monitor student progress and give constructive feedback ‑ Maintain protected, engaging classroom environment ‑ Communicate well with students and parents ‑ Assist with trial lessons and studio activities
Requirements
‑ Minimum 1 year jazz dance teaching experience ‑ Strong skills in Street Jazz,
Modern Jazz, Lyrical Jazz ‑ Good rhythm, choreography ability and classroom management ‑ Patient, outgoing and professional work attitude ‑ Dance background or relevant certifications preferred ‑ Available evenings and weekends
