Duties
- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on various machinery, vehicles, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to handle large components or equipment during repairs or replacements.
- Utilize welding skills to repair or fabricate parts as needed, ensuring durability and safety standards are met.
- Follow established safety protocols during all maintenance activities and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist with the assembly of new machinery or equipment components,
ensuring proper fit and function.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and supporting internal clients with technical assistance.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair or industrial maintenance.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Skilled in welding techniques, schematics reading, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required by the job duties.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues quickly.
- Excellent customer service skills to collaborate effectively within a team setting and support internal stakeholders.
