Responsibilities
- Sweeping shop and office
- Clean bathrooms
- Drive Forklift
- General shop duties
- Reading and interpreting work orders
- Operating metal cleaning equipment such as wheelabrators, deburrers and shotblasters to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other material from surfaces of metal parts, castings and other metal products
- Transporting raw materials and finished metal products manually or using hoists or other devices
- Sorting metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
- Cleaning work areas and equipment
- Loading and unloading vehicles using hand truck or dolly
Qualifications
- 1+ year of Machine Shop and fabrication experience
- Own steel-toed safety boots.
- Fork Lift experience
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license, as public transportation is not available.
- Can lift up to 23kg (50lbs)
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
