We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper/Labourer to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. Duties
- Assist with planting, pruning, mowing, and edging lawns to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming, digging, and installing landscape features
- Use mechanical equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality
- Support garden bed preparation, soil conditioning, and planting activities aligned with project plans
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance including weed control, mulching, and debris removal
- Assist with construction tasks such as installing fencing, pathways, or retaining walls under supervision
- Perform general site cleanup and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience with construction or landscaping projects is desirable but not necessary
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and gardening techniques would be nice but not a deal breaker
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment would be nice but not a deal breaker
- Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers)
- Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or other heavy equipment is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices would be nice but not a deal breaker
- Valid driver’s license preferred
