A well established Nanaimo insurance agency hired us to go find one very specific kind of person someone who's part advisor, part relationship builder and part "actually enjoys insurance" (rare, we know). We can't name the agency publicly yet, but we can tell you this it's a genuinely amazing team and they're done posting generic job ads that go nowhere. So they called in the hunters. That's us.

Now we need your help finding the unicorn. Maybe that's you.

What Makes Someone a Unicorn Here

Not everyone with a license qualifies. The unicorn is someone who:

- Builds trust in the first five minutes: clients walk away feeling advised, not sold to
- Actually likes people: collaborative with the team, warm with clients and allergic to office politics
- Handles chaos with a straight face: multiple priorities, fast pace, still nails the details
- Takes the license seriously: keeps learning, keeps improving and doesn't coast
- Wants to be part of something, not just employed by it.

The Actual Job

- Build real relationships with clients not transactions but real relationships.
- Recommend auto and home insurance that genuinely fits each client's life
- Spot opportunities to deepen the relationship with referrals, add-ons, the natural stuff that shows you care about the clients and their needs.




- Respond to client questions and policy changes with patience and professionalism, walking them through the whole process with a smile and kindness.
- Work as a real part of a real team not isolated at a desk, but as both a cheerleader and a helper who is there to support others and be a team player.

The Requirements (Non-Negotiable, Sorry)
- Valid General Insurance License in good standing
- 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience is a robust plus
- Solid knowledge of auto and property insurance products
- Valid driver's license and appropriate insurance coverage
- Clean Criminal Record Check and Consumer History background check
