The Lifeguard / Instructor at the Trail Aquatic and Leisure Centre provides a secure, enjoyable aquatic experience for users of the Trail Aquatic & Leisure Centre through public education, quality customer service and prevention of water accidents. Hours of work may include evening, daytime and weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
Provide the following minimum current awards:
Bronze Cross
AEC (Aquatic Emergency Care) or equivalent (Standard First Aid)
Desirable:
CPR Level C
WorkSafeBC First Aid - Level 1
WHMIS
Position Information:
Wage Rate: $19.21 / hr
Status: CUPE Local 2087 - Part time
Benefits: As per the Collective Agreement
