Join our high performing team as a Logging Equipment Operator (Log Loader) and play a vital role in managing and operating heavy machinery essential for sustainable forestry and land management projects. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing mechanical skills and construction experience to ensure productive logging operations. As a key contributor, you will operate specialized equipment, perform maintenance, and support landscape and site development activities, all while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
This Job will be in the Barrhead, Swan Hills and Fort Assiniboine and Whitecourt Area. We prefer local people who want to be home every night, but are open to options.

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy logging equipment loaders and possibly other logging equipemnt with precision and safety awareness
- Conduct routine inspections and perform maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Use hand tools and power tools for equipment adjustments, repairs, and site preparations
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively
Requirements
- Must be a great fit for our Team.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in logging or construction environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding site safety and project workflows
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for transporting equipment or materials
- Ability to operate tools safely and efficiently during various tasks
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and equipment maintenance standards
