We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, hands-on, reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.

Someone with a background in carpentry, mechanical maintenance, construction, plumbing, equipment repair, automotive, HVAC, pool/spa service, or another hands-on trade may be a strong fit for this position.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and facility systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prolong equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing root causes accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and quality protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.




- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs during scheduled downtime or emergencies.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades, following technical specifications and safety guidelines.

Requirements

- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair roles.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for various repair tasks.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively for maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Robust problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to document work performed clearly and accurately.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces as needed.
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence and a clean driving record are required, as the position may require travel to different customer and commercial sites throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
