Asbestos Guard Hiring - Asbestos Remediation Operations Supervisor / Lead

Asbestos Guard is seeking an experienced and highly qualified individual to take a leadership role within our asbestos remediation company.

This is a combined in-field and in-office position. The successful candidate will be actively involved in job-site operations while also managing the administrative, scheduling, reporting, testing, staffing, and operational requirements of the company.

This position is ideal for someone with strong industry experience who is looking for more than a traditional supervisor role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the asbestos division, manage their own crew, and continue developing and growing the business with their own leadership style, ideas, and vision.

Responsibilities

-Manage and oversee daily asbestos remediation operations both in the field and in the office.

-Attend job sites as required to supervise, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and support field crews.

-Organize, schedule, supervise, and manage field employees and crews.

-Oversee asbestos testing and sampling activities.

-Prepare, review, and submit testing documentation, reports, and required paperwork.

-Manage office duties related to scheduling, documentation, project coordination, employee organization, and daily operations.

-Ensure projects are properly organized, documented, and completed in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

-Coordinate employees, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and job-site requirements.

-Oversee daily job-site activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

-Maintain high standards for safety, workmanship, documentation, and customer service.

-Assist with estimating, project planning, scheduling, and operational decision-making.

-Communicate with customers, contractors, consultants, laboratories,



and other parties involved with remediation projects.

-Provide leadership, training, and direction to employees.

-Be prepared to work hands-on in the field when required.

-Help continue building and developing Asbestos Guard with the successful candidate's ideas, experience, leadership style, and vision.

-Manage project schedules and staffing to ensure committed timelines and deadlines are maintained.

-Be available for overtime work when required to keep projects moving, meet project deadlines, and maintain customer commitments.

Qualifications

-Minimum five years of experience in a supervisory, managerial, or senior leadership role within asbestos remediation, hazardous materials, or a closely related industry.

-Proper asbestos remediation and testing qualifications and certifications required for the position.

-Strong knowledge of asbestos remediation procedures, testing, containment, documentation, and workplace safety requirements.

-Experience managing employees and multiple projects.

-Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

-Ability to effectively balance field responsibilities with office and administrative duties.

-Ability to work independently and make responsible operational decisions.

-Willingness and ability to work overtime when project requirements and deadlines require it.

-Valid driver's licence required.

-Clean driving record required.

-Satisfactory criminal record check required.

-Strong computer and report-writing skills.

-Ability to professionally communicate with clients, employees, consultants, laboratories, contractors,



and regulatory agencies.

Compensation and Benefits

-Competitive hourly rate offered during the initial three-month probationary period.

-Upon successful completion of the three-month probationary period, the position will transition to a competitive salaried compensation structure.

-Final hourly and salary compensation will be based on qualifications, certifications, management experience, and overall industry experience.

This is a senior position intended for an experienced asbestos professional who is comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment. The successful candidate will take an active role in daily job-site operations while also overseeing staffing, scheduling, testing, reporting, project coordination, and the continued growth of Asbestos Guard.

The position requires flexibility. Certain projects may require extended hours or overtime in order to maintain schedules, keep projects progressing, and meet contractual or customer deadlines.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Education

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
