Great opportunity! We are currently seeking a full time, permanent Technical Support Rep to assist with day-to-day service related calls and support for commercial steam cooking equipment.

The role requires the ability to adapt and will include a variety of tasks with a focus on providing Technicians and Authorized Service Agencies with support on service of steam cooking equipment. The ideal candidate is hands on, thrives on detail and accuracy, able to manage their time, and able to take direction or take the lead. The successful candidate will leverage previous experience for providing technical support.

Hours: Mon – Fri 7:30 AM – 4 PM

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide technical support to customers, site operators, and field technicians via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot steam cooking equipment
- Guide service agencies and technicians through troubleshooting and corrective measures
- Escalate hardware failures and coordinate with field service teams for on-site repairs
- Document issues and resolutions in our support system
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and support documentation
- Updating of documentation such as parts lists, technical documentation, work instructions, etc.
- Participate in company cross-training program (as trainee and trainer)
- Adheres to all company policies & procedures, health and safety policies & procedures, regulations & standards and quality standards




- Commit to and participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
- Receive training on the use of new software as it is added to the environment, On-going training to improve in areas such as time management and specific job skill upgrading may be required
- Other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned
- Work with minimal supervision

Skills and Qualifications (General requirements):
- Bachelor's degree technical field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience working in a similar role
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience in electro-mechanical systems and products
- Ability to read electrical diagrams
- Good understanding of electrical & control systems
- Experience in working and/or designing heat exchangers, boilers, food equipment, sheet metal products (asset)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills in English
