We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Masonry Labourer to assist masons and bricklayers with construction, repair, and finishing work
Duties
- Assist masons and bricklayers with daily construction activities.
- Load, unload, and move bricks, blocks, stone, mortar, cement, and other materials.
- Mix and prepare mortar, concrete, and other masonry materials.
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and work areas as required.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Assist with cutting, carrying, and positioning masonry materials.
- Clean tools, equipment, and work areas during and after construction.
- Remove debris and maintain a safe and organized job site.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned by the mason or site supervisor.
Experience
- Previous construction or masonry experience is an asset but not always required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying materials.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valuable teamwork, communication, and reliability.
- Willingness to learn masonry techniques and construction procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety requirements.
- Valid driver's licence
