Summary: As the Atlantic Canada Region Rockwell Automation Low Voltage & Medium Voltage Motor Control Centre's and Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives Technical Sales Specialist, you are responsible for Rockwell Automation’s Power product portfolio. You will support the geographical area of Atlantic Canada. Reporting to the Regional Industrial Manager, you will represent the segment of the Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley)



portfolio of products & services supporting both internal and external customers with in-depth technical and application knowledge while being responsible for the sales performance of their product discipline within the assigned territory.

Requirements

- Develop and execute annual business plans and growth strategies for the MCC/MV product portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities and support account planning activities.
- Manage the sales funnel, forecasts, and opportunity pipeline.
- Promote commercial programs, product launches, and market growth initiatives.
- Monitor competitive activity and develop strategies to increase market share.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for LV MCC, MV MCC, and MV VFD solutions.
- Review customer requirements and develop accurate technical and commercial proposals.
- Configure products using approved configuration and quotation tools.
- Manage the CTO/ETO proposal process and coordinate complete bid packages.
- Identify opportunities to bundle complementary products and solutions.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and sales teams.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Support customers with product selection, application guidance, installation, and modernization recommendations.
- Promote key motor control technologies and solution capabilities.
- Process, track, and expedite customer orders.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain clear communication regarding project status, schedules, and issue resolution.

Desired Skills & Experience:





- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Certified Engineering Technologist (CET), or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in technical sales, proposal development, industrial automation, motor control, drives, or related electrical power systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Low Voltage MCCs, Medium Voltage MCCs, and Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives.
- Experience using configuration and quotation tools such as Power Control Builder and PowerOne is considered a strong asset.
- Understanding of industrial automation systems, industrial networking, and Ethernet/IP.
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution, motor control applications, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to accurately interpret one-line drawings, electrical schematics, and construction specifications.
- Familiarity with strategic and customer-centric sales methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems; AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat are considered assets.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and passport with ability to travel throughout Canada and the United States.
