Join the Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing as an Integrated Family Support Worker and ReKnew PAR Facilitator, based in North Bay. This enriching position combines family advocacy with leading support groups to foster healthy relationships.
In this full time role, you will directly assist families facing challenges while facilitating group sessions for the ReKnew Partner Assault Response program. Your work will focus on trauma-informed practices, educational advocacy, and effective communication, engaging both individuals and families through skillful group processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-facilitate sessions for the ReKnew PAR program • Develop and implement individualized support plans • Assist families in accessing essential services • Advocate within educational and social systems • Maintain documentation in accordance with standards
Requirements: • Relevant degree or diploma in human services • Strong competence in group facilitation • Knowledge of intimate partner violence and child development • Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle access • Availability for evening facilitation sessions
