Become a key player at IWK Health as a Program Implementer supporting Provincial Preschool Autism Services in New Glasgow. This role requires experience with autism intervention and a commitment to family-centered care.
As a full time Program Implementer, you will deliver direct services to preschoolers with autism and their families, utilizing evidence-based practices aligned with individualized intervention plans. You'll contribute to clinical intake, parent coaching, and support children with wide-ranging needs in diverse settings, including clinics, homes, and childcare centers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct interventions to preschool-aged children with autism • Implement evidence-based autism interventions based on care pathways • Support families through education and coaching programs • Work under supervision from clinical professionals • Travel to various service locations as needed
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Child and Youth Studies • Experience with young children with developmental disabilities • Certification in Basic Life Support and First Aid required • Reliable vehicle and valid Class 5 driver’s license • Robust communication and collaboration skills
