About the Opportunity

Our client is a thriving manufacturing company based in North York, Ontario, and we're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. What You'll Do
Analyze production costs, margins, and manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts
Partner with plant/operations leadership to support cost control and efficiency initiatives
Support budgeting, cost accounting, and inventory valuation processes
Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support
Work within Sage ERP (Sage X3 or similar) to extract, manage, and analyze financial data




Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and senior management

What You Bring
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
CPA designation (or actively working towards it) preferred — CMA/CGA background also valued
4–7 years of progressive financial analysis experience
Manufacturing/production setting experience is a must
Hands-on experience with Sage ERP systems strongly preferred
Solid Excel and financial modeling skills
Sharp analytical mind with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting findings to non-finance stakeholders
