Medical Device Assembly Technician
Location: Amherst, Nova Scotia
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per Week

Precise Design is growing and is looking for a Medical Device Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing quality work. You will assemble, inspect, test, and document the Raymex lift, a mobility aid used by people worldwide.
Because our products are medical devices, we operate within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures precisely, and a commitment to quality and safety.

What You'll Do
As a Medical Device Assembly Technician, you will:
- Assemble medical devices and subassemblies using detailed work instructions and technical specifications
- Perform mechanical assembly using fasteners, brackets, hardware, hand tools, and power tools
- Complete light electrical and electronic assembly tasks
- Conduct product inspections throughout the assembly process
- Perform functional testing and quality checks on components and finished products
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report quality or assembly issues
- Accurately complete production records, inspection reports, and manufacturing documentation
- Follow quality management procedures and manufacturing standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment
- Work independently and collaboratively to achieve production goals
- Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications Experience in any of the following areas is considered an asset:
- Manufacturing
- Production assembly
- Mechanical assembly
- Electronics assembly
- Industrial production
- Quality control or inspection
- Automotive, machinery, or equipment assembly
- Technical or trades-related work
