Elevate community health at Wadena Hospital as a full-time Nurse B. This dynamic role involves health program development, client support, and educational outreach within the Wadena area. This full time temporary position emphasizes the importance of effective health promotion strategies while assisting various populations.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Basic Life Support Certificate. You will be involved in program evaluation, health consultations, and fostering healthy families through your educational initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement community health programs
- Provide one-on-one health consultation and support
- Create and distribute educational materials
- Facilitate parenting education sessions
- Mentor nursing and medical students Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Excellent communication with diverse backgrounds
- Capacity to work both independently and as a team
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan Drive significant health improvements in the community as part of Wadena Hospital's Public Health team.
