We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Feedlot Herdsman to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with daily cattle health monitoring, treatment administration, and recordkeeping.
Qualifications :
Prior experience with cattle handling or in a feedlot setting preferred
Knowledge of cattle health and behavior
Reliable and punctual with solid work ethic
Experience operating farm equipment is a benefit
Valid drivers license required
Responsibilities :
Walking feedlot pens and diagnosing cattle that require treatment
Treatment processing and shipment of cattle
Occasional equipment operation, general feedlot maintenance and other farming duties.
Wages and Benefits :
Competitive wages $23-$30/hr based on experience and performance.
