Responsibilities for Airport Security Guard
Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the airport
Monitor and patrol assigned areas
Control access to restricted areas
Conduct security screening and inspections as required
Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms
Provide professional and courteous customer service to passengers and airport personnel
Prepare reports and document incidents accurately
Follow all airport, client, and GardaWorld security procedures
Work closely with airport authorities, GardaWorld management, and other stakeholders
Qualifications for Airport Security Guard
Be authorized to work in Canada
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Qualified appearance and positive attitude
Strong observation and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Previous security or customer service experience is considered an asset
Previous airport or aviation security experience is considered an asset
