Outbound Operations Coordinator

We're a high-growth cat CPG brand looking for an Outbound Operations Coordinator to handle the day-to-day mechanics of order fulfillment across our B2B retail and DTC channels. You'll report to the Manager of Outbound Fulfillment and be the person keeping orders moving and issues resolved on the ground.

The Reality

- Order queues need daily attention — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- SLAs are tight, and missed ones have real cost (chargebacks, unhappy partners/customers)
- Warehouse issues (short shipments, mislabels, delays) need fast, transparent follow-up
- You'll be the first line of response before issues escalate to the manager

What You'll Actually Do

- Process outbound orders across all channels: manage Shopify, EDI and manual order flows for B2B and DTC, driving partner-specific compliance
- Manage daily order queues across B2B and DTC channels, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time and resolving issues before they delay fulfillment
- Maintain order cleanliness across systems such as 3PL, SPS and Shopify; investigate and close out orders that haven't auto-completed
- Monitor SLAs and fulfillment timelines,



flagging exceptions such as orders with no carrier scan in 2+ weeks or orders shipped 7+ days ago with no delivery
- Work closely with the warehouse to resolve order issues: shortages, mislabels, delays, damages, lost packages, etc.
- Respond to Care team inquiries related to order status and fulfillment issues
- Track and log recurring issues to help identify process improvements
- Communicate order status and issues clearly to internal teams and, when needed, retail partners
- Support order returns processing, when applicable

Requirements

- 2+ years experience in operations support, outbound logistics, or a related field
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, detail-heavy environments
- Familiarity with order management or EDI systems
- Experience with ShipBob, Shopify, Cin7 or similar OMS/WMS platforms is a plus
- Analytical focus, with a tendency to look for proactive solutions to problems
- Strong communication skills and comfort following up with multiple teams
- Organized, proactive, and able to prioritize under shifting demands
