Our client is looking for a Sr. IT Security Engineer to support and augment existing tooling in a Microsoft setting

In this role, you will ensure that the organization’s information systems are protected, and you will oversee security practices across technologies and processes, designing robust security solutions.

2 year term contract (T4), with possibility of longer-term employment

Hybrid (Ottawa) or remote (Eastern Time Zone)

Salary Range: $94, to $,

Must have:
Eligible for Reliability Level security clearance
Experience with MS Security tools: (Purview, Sentinel)
Experience ensuring Azure compliancy with security governance

Nice to have:
Cyber Security certifications (eg: CISSP)

Responsibilities:




Augment existing tooling, identifying and addressing gaps, as well as configuring according to current needs
Work with an existing MS technology stack (Purview, Sentinel, Azure compliancy, etc.)
Improve security through awareness programs, policies, guidelines, and standards, as well as through the ongoing integration of security within business strategies
Recommend and implement security measures, and continuously enhance the security infrastructure
