The course includes online components and in-person labs, making effective communication and teaching skills essential for student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and update course materials and links prior to the course
Communicate regularly with students to monitor progress
Teach, demonstrate skills,
and provide scenario-based learning
Conduct performance skill testing and manage exam submissions
Submit necessary paperwork to Continuing Education
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program
Current Dental Assisting License in Saskatchewan
Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical dental office
Recent teaching experience in dental assisting skills
Ability to apply adult education principles effectively
