Baro is one of Toronto's premier dining and nightlife destinations, spanning multiple distinct experiences under one roof — restaurant, lounge (Escobar), rooftop patio, and a high-volume private events program. We're looking for engaging individuals who who can deliver consistent, high-quality customer serice at both restaurant and nightlife pace.

What You'll Do
Greet and welcome guests warmly, managing arrivals across a high-volume, multi-space venue
Manage reservations, floor plans, and table timing across restaurant, lounge, and patio
Coordinate with servers and management to balance sections and pacing
Handle guest inquiries, waitlists, and special requests professionally and calmly
Maintain an accurate, organized reservation system (e.g., OpenTable/Resy or similar)
Present a polished, qualified first and last impression for every guest




Support smooth transitions during high-volume periods and events
Uphold all responsible service and compliance standards (AGCO / Smart Serve)

What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 year of experience as a host in a high-volume restaurant
Solid organizational skills and composure under pressure
Valid Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
Polished, guest-focused demeanor with solid communication skills
Ability to work late nights, weekends, and event-driven schedules
Experience with reservation/table management systems an asset
Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate with floor and bar teams
