We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part Time Quran Teacher to inspire and guide students in their journey of learning the Quran.
Responsibilities
- Teach students Quran based on their level (Qaida, reading, memorizing)
- Help students with their pronunciation and fluency when reading (Tajweed/Makharij)
- Maintain a respectful, positive learning environment
- Assess students progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of attendance
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Prior teaching experience is highly preferred
- Hafidh and robust knowledge of Quranic recitation (Tajweed) and Islamic studies
- Ability to work well with children/youth
- Patient, responsible, punctual
- Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check required
Timings
- Monday-Thursday, 5:30-7:30PM
Pay: $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
