Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Plumber will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing plumbing issues, inspecting pipes and water distribution systems, performing drainage and pump repairs, and completing scheduled preventative maintenance.
The role involves responding to service calls, conducting emergency repairs, and documenting work performed to meet safety and quality standards.
The Plumber will interact with clients on-site, provide transparent updates on work progress, and coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in plumbing system installation, troubleshooting, and repair, including work with commercial fixtures and equipment.
- Experience with pipes, water distribution, drainage, and related infrastructure, including reading and interpreting basic plans or schematics.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair practices, including preventative maintenance and safe use of plumbing tools and materials.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship completion in plumbing, in good standing with applicable local or provincial regulations.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices for commercial environments.
- Ability to work on-site in varying conditions, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks safely.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites within the Greater Toronto Area.
