We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and the ability to maintain a steady and organized workflow. The Production Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delegate vehicles ready for repair planning to estimators and assign technicians to jobs while ensuring hours are evenly distributed
- Maintain company standards of repair by inspecting vehicles for quality of repairs once completed
- Work with the CSR's to ensure vehicles are booked in to meet daily targets and update the management system on a daily with repair updates
- Maintain a specific gross profit and efficiency standards which have been established for each department as it relates to production
- Frequently inspect the work in process to identify any special repair concerns
- Address and resolve all customer concerns in a timely manner without compromising the client experience
- Ensure all Insurance programs, guidelines, and procedures are adhered
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically in bodywork
- Proficient using Audatex, Mitchell and Outlook
- Valid G-Class license
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Robust communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Demonstrated time management, problem solving, critical thinking and sound judgement skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
