This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Analyst/Manager (Intermediate) based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, data, reporting, and operational governance. You will help maintain the systems and structures that keep a complex program coordinated, transparent, and on track. Your work will combine Azure DevOps administration with integrated planning, dependency management, dashboard development, and process automation.

You’ll use Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and related technologies to turn delivery data into actionable insights. Working across business, technical, vendor, and release teams, you’ll help identify risks, resolve dependencies, and improve decision-making. This is a fully remote contract opportunity where strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving can have a direct impact on program execution.

Accountabilities

- Administer and continuously improve the program’s Azure DevOps environment, including projects, teams, permissions, work item types, workflows, states, rules, automations, and data-quality standards.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reporting solutions, and automated data flows using Azure DevOps, Power Automate, APIs, queries, and related technologies.
- Support backlog management, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and adoption of effective Azure DevOps and reporting practices.
- Maintain the integrated program plan, including schedules, work breakdown structures, milestones, delivery streams, and cross-workstream dependencies.
- Identify, document, analyze, and monitor dependencies, facilitating resolution discussions and escalating critical schedule or delivery risks when required.
- Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements while ensuring actions, decisions, dependencies, and deliverables are documented and followed through.
- Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, supporting mitigation planning, ownership, resolution, and escalation.
- Prepare executive-ready status reports, dashboards, governance materials, meeting documentation,



and dependency reporting to support informed program decisions.
- Collaborate with business, technical, vendor, release, and workstream teams to monitor progress, track deliverables, and support successful program execution.
- Develop process documentation, operating procedures, and user guidance, translating complex delivery and planning information into explicit, actionable communications.
- Continuously improve reporting, automation, and delivery processes by identifying data-quality or usability issues and incorporating stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint, particularly in delivery planning, tracking, governance, and executive reporting.
- Demonstrated experience developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards, including data modeling, measures, visualizations, and integrations with Azure DevOps and other delivery data sources.
- Practical experience designing and building PowerApps, forms, agents, and workflow solutions for planning, status reporting, RAID management, metrics collection, and process automation.
- Strong data integration and automation capabilities using tools such as Power Query, Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, Azure DevOps APIs, Power Automate, and agent-based workflows.
- Ability to translate business and operational requirements into practical dashboards, applications, reporting workflows, and data structures that improve program delivery.
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps delivery data, including work items, iterations, releases, milestones, dependencies, and status reporting.
- Experience owning and continuously improving reporting and automation solutions, with a focus on data quality, usability, reliability, and stakeholder needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,



with the ability to turn complex delivery information into clear and actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready reporting and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis, validation, and interim data management, alongside experience using enterprise reporting platforms such as Power BI.
- Current Government of Canada Reliability security clearance or higher is required at the time of application.

- Hourly compensation of CAD $75–$100.
