The Records and Information Management Services team is evolving as we move forward with automation of data management services. This position plays a pivotal role in our team of five, as we evolve into the new environment.
Title: Records Classifier
Salary: $59,140 - $63,837 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Temporary, May 31,2027
Hours: 37.5 hours, 7:30am- 3:30pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Coast Salish Territories: Metro Vancouver: Alberni office – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note,
this role will be relocating to our current office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)
About The Role
As Records Classifier, you will be responsible for providing daily support in the areas of Records and Information Management Services. You will administer information holdings and records management support services for managers, staff and stakeholders. You will be reporting to the Manager, Records and Information Management.
About You To be successful in this role you will have/be –
Education & Experience
- Grade 12, plus completion of two years of post-secondary education in Record Management, Business or Office Administration, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience with data entry, manipulation, and retrieval techniques using a variety of computer automated systems and software
Knowledge & Abilities
- Basic knowledge of First Nations communities and issues
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Ability to focus efforts to ensure high quality and timely customer service to meet time sensitive deadlines
