We are seeking a skilled and compassionate REGISTERED Massage Therapist to join our sports medicine team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences before each session.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatments provided and any relevant medical history.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans and any aftercare recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a welcoming workplace for all clients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role is preferred.
- Experience with athletes an asset.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for building rapport with clients and enhancing their overall experience.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss treatment options and address client concerns.
