Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Roof Estimator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing roofing projects, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating with clients and project teams to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will help drive profitable growth by delivering precise pricing and fostering strong relationships through effective negotiation.

Responsibilities

- Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop comprehensive roofing estimates
- Utilize estimating software such as Roofr to prepare accurate cost proposals
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and terms that align with project budgets
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure estimates reflect scope, schedule, and resource requirements
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess conditions, and verify scope of work
- Prepare detailed bid packages, including material quantities, labor costs, and contingency allowances




- Maintain organized records of all estimates, correspondence, and revisions for future reference

Skills

- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Roofr or other programs
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms
- Excellent project management capabilities to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously
- Solid understanding of roofing materials, techniques, and industry standards
- Construction experience with a focus on roofing or general contracting projects
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost analysis for accurate bid development
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
