Join CRDCN as a Data Architect leading the SSCAN project, a pivotal role in establishing a secure repository for sensitive research data. This position emphasizes creative system design and best practices tailored for social sciences researchers in Canada.
As Lead Architect, you will employ a research-based approach to craft a digital repository that adheres to the highest standards of data security and management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address the multifaceted requirements of various data sets and develop solutions supporting both cybersecurity and compliance with FAIR practices. Your architectural insights will contribute to aligning with national data strategies and existing governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive technical design focused on sensitive data storage
• Explore options for robust system architecture
• Seek and track component cost profiles
• Ensure compliance with data governance frameworks
• Support alignment with CoreTrustSeal requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6 years of relevant experience, including supervisory role
• Master’s degree in a related area is advantageous
• Comprehensive knowledge of data lifecycle and management
• Familiarity with sensitive data requirements
