At Lightmatter, we are looking for a dedicated engineer to tackle complex challenges in AI data center infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with a team to measure performance metrics and debug high-speed links. Your role will significantly impact the development of cutting-edge photonic technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Run lab characterizations on high-speed optical/electrical hardware
• Debug and validate performance of electro-optic links
• Build models correlating electrical and optical measurements
• Execute comprehensive link budget measurements
• Automate tasks using instruments and scripts
Requirements:
• PhD in EE, Photonics or Physics; or MS +3 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with 56G/112G serial links
• Proficient in signal integrity fundamentals
• Solid skills in VNA, scopes, and BERTs
• Solid programming skills in Python or MATLAB
