Provide vital mental health support as a Crisis Support Worker in CMHA Halton's Safe Beds Program. Engage with individuals in distress through community and residential settings.

This casual role at CMHA Halton involves being part of a dedicated crisis response team. You'll deliver essential support to individuals in crisis by conducting assessments and implementing safety planning. The position requires a commitment to personalized, recovery-oriented care while collaborating with healthcare professionals and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver immediate crisis stabilization and support
• Perform risk assessments and crisis planning
• Advocate and coordinate services for clients
• Assist with discharge planning and service navigation
• Facilitate connections to mental health and housing services

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• 3-5 years’ experience in crisis intervention
• Registration with a professional college preferred
• Solid knowledge of mental health legislation
• Must possess a valid Ontario class G driver's license
