The RMOW is hiring an Equipment Operator III to join the Roads department and operate snow clearing machinery starting November 1, 2026. In this role, you will maintain roads while enhancing community engagement through your work. Applicants must be proactive team members with a focus on customer service and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate and maintain snow clearing equipment
• Carry out tasks for winter road maintenance projects
• Provide secure transportation solutions for residents and visitors




• Minimize risks during adverse weather conditions
• Collaborate effectively with team and community members

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education plus 2-4 years relevant experience
• At least 1-3 years handling heavy machinery
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license with air endorsement
• Knowledge of local roadways and safe practices
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
