Empower students with hearing loss as an Educational Assistant at Saskatoon Public Schools, in full-time, part-time, or casual capacities. Engage students in learning through effective communication support.

As part of Saskatoon Public Schools, this role focuses on providing assistance to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. You will work closely with the learning team to deploy American Sign Language (ASL) and additional communication aids that ensure equal access to educational opportunities. Your role will have a significant impact on student independence and participation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support students in using assistive communication tools
• Facilitate secure and meaningful school participation
• Assist with personal hygiene and mobility needs




• Collaborate on student IPPs for tailored support
• Promote positive behaviors and supervision during all activities

Requirements:
• ASL or Signed English training is mandatory
• Experience in special education is advantageous
• Good communication and interpersonal skills necessary
• Ability to manage physical demands and mobility needs
• First Aid certification is beneficial
