As a Scale Attendant and Dispatcher with us the minimum responsibilities are:
- Daily Operation of the weigh-station scale (Operating hours from Monday to Friday 9am-6pm)
- Entering appropriate data accurately into computer-based platforms
- Daily closure and verification of 27 collection routes
- Customer account and service information updates within TRUX
- Administration and tracking of OCC contamination programs
- Management of inbound and outbound scale operations
- Backup support for the Overages Program
- Preparation and administration of customer reports for the City of Oshawa, Town of Whitby, and other contracted customers
- Other job-related duties as needed
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9AM to 6PM
What We Need From You:
- Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word,
and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of TRUX software is an asset
- Experience dispatching in the transportation and waste industries is an asset
- Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs
- Must be able to remain seated for extended periods
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment verifications
