Day to day responsibilities – determining job requirements and planning/configuring scaffolding
– erection of scaffolding of various types, establishing platforms and safety measures
– dismantling and removing on completion
– undertaking checking/assessing and when directed
– help to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
– carry out tasks within agreed time limits
– contribute towards the smooth running of the team
This is a Union role with Marine & Shipbuilders CMAW Local 506.
- Health, Welfare & Pension Package: Excellent perks package after completion of 480 hours
- Wage: starting at $55.47 per hour
- Shift Differentials (if applicable): $3.25 per hour for afternoon shift, $4.65 per hour for graveyard
- Overtime: Double time
