Role Description The Security Guard role at Blackmark Protection Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Toronto, ON. In this role, the Security Guard monitors and patrols assigned locations to deter threats, safeguard clients, and protect property, using both observation and established security protocols.

Responsibilities include managing access control, screening visitors, responding to alarms and incidents, and maintaining clear, accurate incident reports.

Guard works closely with clients and team members to provide professional,



discreet customer service while maintaining situational awareness in high-profile or sensitive environments. The role also involves following intelligence-informed security procedures, conducting regular safety checks, and supporting secure movements and events as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Demonstrated experience in physical security, including patrolling, access control, and incident response.
- Knowledge of personnel security practices, including identity verification and protection of high-profile individuals.
- Background in private security or related protective services, ideally within corporate or executive protection environments.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and make rapid decisions in evolving situations.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills for report writing and clear incident documentation.
- Physical fitness sufficient for standing, patrolling, and responding to emergencies over extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic security technologies (CCTV, access control systems, radios) and standard operating procedures.
- Valid security guard license for Ontario and clean background check; first aid/CPR certification is an asset.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
