Your role will involve working directly with young people in staffed homes, with responsibilities including advocating for their rights and supporting their independence. With at least two years in community social services focused on mental health, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans and foster positive family connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for children's rights consistently
• Interact positively with youths we support
• Document care and support plans thoroughly
• Assist with daily functions and medication administration
• Maintain household cleanliness and safety
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and Child Youth Care Diploma
• Minimum 2 years in youth community services
• Experience in trauma-informed care strategies
• Valid First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications
• Explicit criminal background and driving record
