About the Role We are seeking an experienced Dental Ceramist to join a well-established dental laboratory located approximately 20 minutes from Hamilton, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities Layer, contour, stain, glaze, and finish high-quality ceramic restorations.
Complete anterior and posterior crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant-supported restorations.
Work with zirconia, porcelain-fused-to-metal restorations, lithium disilicate, and other ceramic materials.
Evaluate case design, dental anatomy, tooth morphology, texture, translucency, and shade.
Produce natural-looking restorations that meet both functional and aesthetic standards.
Complete custom shades and complex aesthetic cases when required.
Review completed cases for accuracy, fit, function, and overall quality before final delivery.
Communicate effectively with technicians, managers, and other laboratory team members.
Maintain consistent quality while meeting laboratory production timelines.
Follow established laboratory procedures and quality-control standards.
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a dental ceramist.
Strong ceramic layering, contouring, staining, glazing, and finishing skills.
Experience working with zirconia, PFM, lithium disilicate, and other ceramic materials.




Ability to complete both anterior and posterior restorative cases.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, morphology, occlusion, contacts, margins, and shade.
Experience with metal and zirconia fitting.
Experience with veneers, implant-supported restorations, full-mouth cases, and complex aesthetic work is highly preferred.
